We are a family that embraces an adventurous lifestyle.  We try to take half a dozen camping trips every year... including a six week trip every summer.  We pack up our 24 foot Prowler travel trailer and load the family, including our two black labs.  All summer we stay with various family members on the coast of Massachusetts and further in-land in New York State. 

Needless to say, we have stayed at a fair number of campsites over the years.  We have stayed at everything from private campgrounds and state parks, to rest areas and Wal-mart parking lots. 

I have kept records of most of the places we have camped in just the past few years.  Listed below are campsite reviews based on the features that we look for when camping with a young family;  playgrounds, pet policy, etc.  Keep in mind that these reviews are my own opinion and there are those of you that might not agree.  But use the information for what it's worth.  I'll be updating the list with each new trip!
